GST return preparation
GST returns are worked out from your own books for any month or quarter: GSTR-1 tables from issued invoices and notes, GSTR-3B with output tax and input tax credit from recorded bills, and the HSN summary. Download the GSTR-1 JSON for the GST portal and record the filing when it is done.

What you can do with gst
- GSTR-1: B2B, B2C large and others, exports, credit and debit notes, nil-rated, HSN summary and documents issued.
- GSTR-3B: outward tax, input tax credit by head with ineligible credit reversed (Table 4), and an estimate of tax payable.
- GSTR-1 JSON in the GSTN offline-tool format, ready to upload.
- Every figure ties back to Finance reports (GST summary, HSN summary, input GST and ITC).

Questions
Does LuckPanda file the return on the GST portal?
Not directly. It prepares the return and the GSTR-1 JSON; you or your accountant upload and file, then record the filing date and ARN here.
How is input tax credit worked out?
From the bills and expenses you record, line by line, with credit that is blocked or ineligible kept out of Table 4(A) or reversed in 4(B). The free ITC checker at /tools/input-tax-credit explains the rules.
